RinasCut

The RinasCut software packages provides programming and control facilities for robotic profile cutting lines.

The RinasCut system represents the latest technology available and implements all features expected in a modern automated profile cutting line, where robots or NC machines are utilized.

Development is continuing and will in the future provide possibilities for upgrading of existing systems with new or enhanced facilities.

RinasCut - Key Features

Key features of the RinasCut system are:

• Interfacing with external CAD and production planning systems

• Long list of pre-defined cuts for typical profile types

• Advanced graphical user interface for creating new or modifying existing cut definitions

• Editing facility for cutting process parameters ( individually for each cutting process and tool)

• Smart user interface for easy entering of production data

• Nesting of profiles on available raw bars (and remnants)

• Automatic generation of complete robot programs

• Printing of relevant production documentation

• Profile cutting using oxy-fuel or plasma processes (or both, in which case tool change is also controlled automatically)

• Printing of position marking lines on profiles (using plasma marker)

• Bending lines marking

• Text labeling on profiles

• Remnant handling

• Full control of the production line including management system for on-line communication with robot, PLC, and other equipment

• Flexible operator system for production control

• Stock database update after production

RinasCut - Software Packages

The RinasCut system consists of two software packages.

The RinasCut Off-line System is to be situated in the office where production planning and work preparation takes place. 

The RinasCut On-line System is to be installed at the shop floor where actual production takes place.

References to date are in conjunction with Motoman robots. RinasCut can be interfaced with suitable robots from other manufacturers if required.
